A native of Ft. Myers, Florida, Lona W. Ford earned graduate and undergraduate degrees at
Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. Already holding a Masters in Business
Administration, Lona is currently pursing a Ph.D. in Business Administration and Leadership.
Lona has worked as a Financial Examiner with the Florida Department of Banking and Finance, a
Corporate Auditor with Electronic Data Systems in Plano, Texas, and as a Brand Assistant with
Tropicana Dole Products.
Lona is always organized and prepared, loves people, and keeps Community Trust finely tuned
and ready for the next opportunity. Lona is married with two awesome little boys (the oldest,
Darrell, is a prodigy grade pianist at 5 years old!) In her third year, we are grateful to be
able to call her a member of the Community Trust Family.
