Patrick Hadley is the founder of the Florida Chapter of MAD DADS, and currently serves as the national
President. MAD DADS is a national organization founded in 1989 by a group of concerned Omaha, Nebraska
parents who were fed up with gang violence and the unmolested flow of illegal drugs in their community.
From a genesis of only 18 men in Omaha, MAD DADS has grown to over 65,000 involved parents across 16 states.
Mr. Hadley served as the Director of the Office of Urban Opportunity for the Governor's Front Porch Florida
Initiative where he developed and coordinated the Initiative; coordinated the statewide Inner City Grant
program; represented and advised the Governor on urban and rural community development issues, and
participated in state senior level planning activities.
Mr. Hadley is a member of the Judiciary Nominating Committee for the Middle District of Florida; a
member of the Board of Directors of First Union Bank Ð Ocala; a Commissioner of the Commission on
Responsible Fatherhood, a member of the Weed and Seed Task Force; and has accumulated a host of state,
regional and national awards celebrating his work and effectiveness.
